I bought this palette and I think that the colors are far more orange than they look in the pan. Reminds me very much of Naked Heat which I own and rarely iuse. Despite the great reviews, I will.pass bc they are not my colors. If you’re shopping multiple items I highly recommend you check Charlotte Tilbury’s website first to see if the colors you’re looking for are still in stock. She has bundles available and most of them are customizable and have a price break. There are some new Pillow Talk launches from Charlotte Tilbury and I have a full haul + swatches for you!

Pillow Talk Dreams #3 is a medium copper with warm, rosy undertones and a sparkly finish. It had a slightly emollient feel, which made it feel firmer in the pan, but it wasn’t stiff to pick up or to blend out, though there was light fallout. It had mostly opaque, buildable color payoff that lasted well for eight hours before fading and had light fallout over time. Pillow Talk Dreams #1 is a light-medium, rosy copper with warm undertones and a bright, metallic sheen. The eyeshadow had a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was finely-milled and dense without being thick.
Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wands
The texture was smooth, velvety, and more substantial with a touch of powderiness, which seemed present in the pan but yielded no fallout during application. It had rich color coverage that wore nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading. Pillow Talk Day Eyes (Enhance) is a light copper with moderate, warm undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen with faint pink and gold micro-sparkle. It had rich color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.
Sleek Makeup
It’s a semi-miss for me, mainly because the color is a bit too deep for my skin tone as a highlighter. On my skin it pulls very copper, very warm and a bit too dramatic. It would probably work better on someone with very tan to deep skin tone. I think the colors are stunning as an eyeshadow palette. While the full size Pillow Talk lipstick retails for $34, Charlotte Tilbury puts out several kits that contain a mini-size Pillow Talk combined with other products from her line.

Hi Christine, I just wanted to know where you got the 0.31 oz number from?? I’m debating on getting this palette, but the amount per pan is kind of a dealbreaker for me if it’s really 0.02 oz per shadow/0.24 oz total. Christine Mielke is the editor-in-chief and has been reviewing products for over 14 years. Last I have a quick look at the Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wands ($40 each) in Pillow Talk Light/Medium and Medium/Deep. These have been restocked so if you had your eye on these they’re back!

I have a tiny sample size of Pillow Talk, so perhaps there's a difference between the sample and the full size. I was so excited to get the sample, but the color is not at all what I expected. If I apply a light layer, I'd say it looks like a warm pink. If I apply it a little more heavily, it comes out as almost a bright coral. Not only is it not "pink," it's not a "nude," either. It does give a bit of a smoothing effect on my lips.
Product details
It had opaque pigmentation that stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly. If I were more tan, this quad would be useless on my otherwise NC15 skin. Also, this makes me look like a sleepless rabbit – it’s got a significant pink/red undertone. The same youtubers who complain about the lack of shade range in foundations said nothing about the lack of depth and usability for anyone darker than light. Pillow Talk #2 is a muted, dusty coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that was hard to really build up, even over primer.
The consistency was soft, velvety, and smooth without being too powdery but weren’t too firmly-pressed into the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably. Pillow Talk Desk Eyes (Prime) is a medium-dark peach with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had nearly opaque color payoff that was buildable with a second layer. The texture was soft, somewhat powdery, and it sheered out a little when applied and blended out on my skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
I personally like the scent but YMMV.The 3 stars is more for the confusion on shade description. Pillow Talk Desk Eyes (Smoke) is a medium-dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was smooth to the touch, finely-milled, and slightly firmer in the pan compared to other shades (but no powderiness at all). It had opaque color payoff that adhered well to bare skin and blended out without difficulty.
What strikes me most is how different the swatches are from the official Tilbury site. I always find the ‘pop’ shades to be the weakest in her quads (too dry and too much fall out), I was surprised when she released the two pop palettes at the end of last year. There are two new highlighters called the Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Beautifying All Over Glow Highlighter ($45 each). There are two variations in Romance Light and Dream Light. Each palette has a mix of finely milled shimmers and a couple sparkle shades.
The colors didn’t all work out for me, but there are some solid new loves for me. If I had to pick one stand out it would be her new Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette. It’s worth noting that Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks smell like delicious vanilla frosting. I don’t notice the smell after applying the lipstick though. If you’ve tried this new shade, let me know what you think!
As someone who normally purchases $10 or less drugstore lipsticks, the pillow talk price tag of $34 is definitely higher than what I’m used to paying. Also, if you’re the type of person who likes to wear the same lipstick shade everyday, then again this is one of the best lipsticks you can buy for versatility. I am warm undertoned; olive who looks grey in winter and dirty honey coloured in summer. I need true autumn lipstick colours and this isn't it.This is very drying and emphasises all my lines. I’d love to see your take on the CT quads Christine like you did for the ND palettes, using the massive library of shadow singles from like CP and SG.
This set of swatches shows Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk swatched with the closes shades I could find in my collection from other brands. I’ve been a long time fan of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, and the brand just came out with new shades to the now cult-classic Pillow Talk line. Fortunately, I found these lipsticks to be hydrating, and they have a satin-smooth texture that feels really nice and comfortable on the lips. For my fair skin and neutral undertone, it appears ever so slightly pinker, but it’s still very much a neutral nude. 110% would recommend this shade for anyone who wants a versatile lipstick you can wear anytime.
